Struggle

As Struggle’s water broke so did my heart when I saw the pain she was in,
Minute after minute she grew weaker,
The excruciating pain multiplied as the contractions grew closer,
Sweat oozing out of her skin pores, Tears gliding down her cheeks,
She was definitely in labor,
I was filled with fear when she told me ‘come hither’,
For some reason her voice was deeper,
She seemed way much stronger and eager to complete the process.

Like a cow mooing before the slaughter,
She cried out loud and gave her final push,
Declaration smiled and said ‘congratulations you’ve given birth to a future leader’,
Struggle named him Liberation.

Liberation’s birth was celebrated all over,
The oppressor’s power trip was over,
Segregation ran for cover,
Thus through Liberation Equality was empowered,
Liberation made sure that I too was human.

Earth opened up and engulfed Struggle,
Bitter and confused was a motherless Liberation,
His emotions and sexual promiscuity spiraled out of control and he fathered Fraud, Corruption and Crime.

The grass grew grey,
Mother nature’s femininity faded,
Leadership’s humanity was lost and his heart away he traded,
Greed infiltrated the hearts of men,
The skies cried out in huge violent thunder storms,
Hell broke loose and set earth alight,
The grass grew grey,
Mother nature’s femininity faded.

Struggle must be spinning in her grave for her suffering and pursuit for Liberation gave earth flesh eating, greedy, fraudulent , corrupt individuals who bred crime in mother nature’s sacred pond;
Struggle must be spinning in her grave.
